Product Information
The JURASSIC PARK movies are renowned for their amazing visuals and exciting thrills. That same feeling can now be relived with WARPATH: Jurassic Park for the PlayStation. This fighting game lets you choose one of 14 dinosaurs that can claw, bite, and tail-whip opponents. The action takes place over numerous levels inspired by the movies, including indoor and outdoor environments. Each location can be interacted with, adding strategy to the gameplay and timing of attacks. Each dinosaur is capable of different kinds of attacks, and they all feature unique combination attacks that can quickly drain the enemy of health. There is a Two-Player mode included that allows head-to-head battles, and it's a great place to practice for the harder computer battles. The game even includes an encyclopedia for looking up information on each of the creatures! WARPATH: Jurassic Park carries with it high production values and a great atmosphere, making each ancient battle even more exciting.

This game is so good, it deserves a remake!

Created: 15/07/07
If your wondering why i put "remake" in the title? Not because it's a bad game, but it's ausome, and hard to find! This is the only dinosaur fighting game i've played (besides primal rage). It has great graphics (even by PS1 standards!). amazing sound effects, and great effects (eg. blood, dust etc.). If you don't want your kids to play games with blood in them, this game has a blood on/off option.

The game is very challenging for all ages! with more than 14 dinosaurs, the posibilities are endless! If this game was remade, add stegosaurus as a character. overall, a great 5 star game for everyone!

A decent Dino fighting game...

Created: 19/12/07
Looks like this game is rather rare; it's still fetching decent prices here on eBay!

This game is like any fighter game meats dinosaurs. If you enjoy fighting games, you'll probably enjoy this game. I have spent many hours playing this game and did enjoy it. It's not my favorite game, but it is definitely worth buying. It has something like 14 different Dino's, 10 or so battle grounds, and yes... it has multiplayer! My favorite part!

In the end Jurassic Park Warpath is the same old (not necessarily in a bad way) button mashing fighter game with Dino's instead of people or weird creatures. The graphics are pretty decent for the PS1 and the controls feel good. There are many different moves to do and learn, which keeps you playing it for hours. I would recommend this game to any youngster (make sure to turn the blood off if they're young!), or anybody else who enjoys fighting games, but is looking for something different. I rate it a 4 out of 5, and would definitely recommend this game!

Well, it could be worse......

Hm. When I got this game, I thought that the dinosaurs would be super awsome. That they all had their own fighting moves and that you could literally tear them apart. I was wrong. Each dinosaur has pretty much the same moves and styles. They look okay, but certainly don't show nearly enough blood and gore. The dinosaurs look.....how should I put this.....like a retarded monkey drew them. Don't get me wrong, some of the dinosaurs, like the T-rex, Raptor, and Suchomimus look great. But others like the Spinosaurus and Ankylosaurus(?) look just terrible. And when they die or faint or what ever they do, just doesn't look realistic enough.
Now the backgrounds and arenas..... that's a different story! They look terrific. They look just like the movies. I personally like the Raptor Pen arena. I just don't think that this game lives up to the Playstation's ability, and the movies acuracy. I am VERY dissappointed in the Spinosaurus' look. He looks...pardon me...CRAPPY. But, at least you can choose your dinosaurs color. And you can read their REAL stats and how to pronounce their names.
I would not recommend this game to Jurassic Park fan wannabees. You have to be a true fan of the movies to enjoy this game. It would also be a good game if you were bored out of your mind and needed to kill some time. As for you Jurassic Park wannabees, just buy Dino Crisis 1 and 2. That should quinch your thirst for Jurassic Park type playing. You also get to kill the dinosaurs. So, I will rate this game 3/5. Just because I love the movies and pity the creators who made this game.

A Dinosaur Lover's Dream

Created: 10/02/07
Ok it does not really have anything to do with Jurassic park other than its name but, Fighting Dinosaurs! It doesn't get better than that for a kid dinosaur lover. Most of the Dinosaur look great, Sound effects are near perfect, the loading time is relatively short compared to other playstation one games. It even has a museum of the dinosaur, VS mode, Practice mode, Arcade and Team Battle etc. Other than Primal Rage there is no other dinosaur fighting game out for Playstation or PS2. From a kids point of view this game is 5 out of 5. This game is very rare if you can find it complete under 40 dollars buy it, its value will only rise if no other Fighting Dinosaurs game comes out.
