Welcome Home: Kaffe Fassett by Kaffe Fassett and Marjon Schaefer (1999, Hardcover)

This is one of my all-time favorite books written by an artist who has inspired me significantly. Although I do not decorate my own home like this, I would definitely recommend this book to ebayers who are into decorative collectibles because there are so many interesting display ideas throughout the book. With Kaffe Fassett, "More is more" when it comes to color and decoration. Eye candy overload! Kaffe is an artist and often paints still life paintings of pottery, glass, and collectibles. The book is great insight into his surroundings and inspiration. The book is actually geared more to crafters than it is to interior designers, although I think it would be appreciated by both. There are instructions/patterns for some of the items shown in the book including quilts, rag rugs, mosaics & pillows.

You can depend on Kaffe Fassett to decorate his home in color. I would have liked to see more of his knitted stuff but I was still happy with the book.

Kaffe Fassett fans will love this book. Included are instructions for several quilts. Photos of his works in museum displays and pictures of where his inspirations come from, are also included. A book that is a virtual feast for the eyes for quilters and non-quilters alike. Anyone studying colour will find this book a very helpful resource as well.

This man; Kaffee Fassett, is a fantastic artist. His work in numerous mediums is mind-boggeling; needlepoint, quilting, painting, designing fabrics, homegoods, knitting, clothes designer, mosaics, and more....

I am a Kaffe Fassett fan. I'm collecting his quilting books and very pleased to receive this one. Its in excellent condition and well worth the money I am still looking for some of his others
