Personnel: Kevin Cronin (vocals, guitar, acoustic guitar, background vocals); Richard Page, Tom Kelly , Tommy Funderburk (vocals, background vocals); Gary Richrath (guitar, electric guitar, wah-wah guitar); Bruce Hall (guitar, bass guitar); Neal Doughty (piano, organ, keyboards, synthesizer); Bruce (bass guitar); Alan Gratzer (drums); Steve Forman (congas, shaker, percussion).Recording information: Rumbo Recorders, Los Angeles, CA (01/1984-08/1984).Photographers: Hiro Ito; Randee Saint Nicholas.REO Speedwagon continued their commercial winning streak with their 1984 release, WHEELS ARE TURNIN'. Like its predecessor, GOOD TROUBLE, WHEELS wasn't as stellar as their quintessential '81 release, HI INFIDELITY, but still contained several big hits and radio faves. MTV had become a big factor in the success of rock artists by the mid '80s, and REO made the transition fine. Some of their heavily-aired clips, including those for the quirky rocker "I Do'wanna Know" and the tender "Can't Fight This Feeling," proved to be some of REO's most popular, perennial hits.

    A must have classic

This is one of those rare albums that you can listen too with out skipping any songs. Gotta feel more delivers just that "more". Rock 'N Roll star tells of the life behind the foot lights and "I don't wanna know" tells of the constant pressure on our souls to recognize God's Love for us when were afraid to take the step of Faith. This is a keeper. Littlepine0

Wheels Are Turnin' is the eleventh studio album by REO Speedwagon, released in 1984 (see 1984 in music). It features "Can't Fight This Feeling," which was REO's second and longest-running #1 single. The LP version contained a cut-out stroboscope. Other singles released were "One Lonely Night" "I Do' Wanna Know", and "Live Every Moment".

Here is the deal. This is basically the only way you can get the song "I do' wanna know" in the original single release. Their greatest hits cd that has this song has a live version of it. Which most people are not gonna want.

    Wheels are falling off!

Definitely not their best, and their worst. Wheels are turning is a in betweener. Definitely a good cd buy, but if have others from this group buy them feels like Cronin definitely has artistic control and don't know quite what to do with it. Average at best.

I buy this CD because I'm a fan of REO and I hava the cassette in the 80's. This CD plays great quality. And have songs that you don't find in any greates hits CD.
