Whispers of Winter by Tracie Peterson GREAT BOOK!

    Created: 27/06/07
I had read the entire set and was excited to finish The Alaskan Quest series. I really loved the conclusion to this series, however, I was disappointed with the way things were kind of strung out. We continued to go back and remember things that had happened previously and it seemed some of the story lines and characters just kind of ended. There wasn't really a conclusion to everything that was going on in the book. But I did love the book and I would recommend it to anyone else that is a Tracie Peterson fan or just a fan of Christian Historical Fiction!

    Great Read

I am a Tracie Peterson fan. I had gotten #1 and #2 in this series and really liked it....was very anxious to finish up with #3. It was a great story of people in Alaska in the early 1900's. Very interesting to see the trials of daily living they endured. I've read other authors about early Alaska and this seemed very historically correct.

This whole series is not as good as the other series on Alaska. It drags on and keeps going back and reiterating was has already happened. The Whispers of Winter was the worst. I kept putting it down and not caring where it was going. I had to make myself finish it. And then it was not satisfying when I did.

I really liked this book and the way things turned out. I had been reading the series so I was looking forward to reading the last book. The author is a wonderful writer and I always look forward to her new books that come out.
