White Knight Chronicles (International Edition) (Sony Playstation 3, 2010)

i bought the game cause the box looked really cool.it struck me as a role playing game i got a good deal on the game and the guide.great crisp graphics.it looks like a game i am going to enjoy from start to finish.the game has a young orphan named leonard wo is the hero of the story fraught with murder,betrayals and war.
tha magi who are an evil army wants to overthrow balandor to gain great power and to obtain the white knights,which if they pocess will give them this great power to rule there world.princes cisna is the heir to the throne of the city the magi want to take over.she seen her mother assasinated as a young girl and she does not choose to speak since then.
eldore is a wizard/solidier who comes to balandor.he is a cipher of sorts but has skill with a sword and magic.
there is casear which is a gentle person who acts as somewhat of a playboy his in tnetuions in the game are a bit of a mystery as i will leave it.
karn is an older woman who is beautiful and yet cold,she surrounds herself with friendly people,but prefers to keep at a distance.
the knights are brought back into modern times and will destory the world if they fall into the hands of the magi.
all of the lives of these charecters entertwine,which eventually we will see if the orphan boy will become a true hero and save all in their humantiy and keep balance in the world in which they live

When I first put the game in my PS3 (and waited past the start screen for the opening video) I was entranced by the game's music and graphics. After that I was surprised at the customization tool for your character. They pretty much let you choose everything from iris color to the size of their feet. The character you create, however, is not the main character;in fact, they are just a tag-along that shows up in all the scenes. In online play, of course, they are your character.
The online system of WKC is very unique. It allows you to create your own "hometown" using materials and money gathered from both offline and online play and recruit residents of cities from offline play to become part of your online town and thus allow for free items online and the ability to buy incredibly rare items from your hometown's stores. It even has its own e-mail system called "Bigelow Mail." Apparently, from the storyline, Bigelows are birds that can transfer image and sound.
All in all I'd say the story of the game is pretty much typical of the genre, however the online execution and customizable combo system,avatar creation, and replay value of the game make me give this game, on my personal scale, nearly a perfect score.
If you ever wished Monster Hunter was on the PS3, you should get this game. It's pretty much MH but 7x as good for the online aspect. Offline it is comparable to star ocean: the last hope.

It's a classic rpg where a hero saves the princess (and the world as a bonus).

The combat pace is kind of slow at the beginning, since the characters do not have many skills yet. The graphic is good.


The game consists of two main mode: story mode and online mode.
The online mode allows you to complete more quests with other players. One special feature is the georama system, where players can build their own town and another player can visit the town.

P.S.The rumor said the remastered version of this game will be included in White Knight Chronicles 2 (YES, a sequel!!).

I bought this game with average expectations for it. Its a nice, long RPG that will eat up some of you time. The battle system is lame, boring, slow, and its almost impossible to die. The game could be so much better but the battle system kills it. You can't seem to really customize attacks of other party members and they go off and fight other monsters while you are battling. You're not really going to die anyway, but its annoying.

When I playing it I kept thinking that it was just like "Rogue Galaxy" for PS2, and similar to FF XII. I'm pretty critical of this game, but if you like a nice slow RPG to enjoy it may be for you. FYI, I'm not using the online part yet.

This game is a great game! The graphics are awesome and it's also fun to have your completely own unique character that you create yourself. Goes along with most other RPGs as far as how it works, but the storyline is quite interesting. Ebay is a great place to find this game since in stores you won't find it for under $60. Highly recommended game!
