Wild ARMs (Sony PlayStation 1, 1997)

Wild Arms is a great story about your classic characters in an orignal setting.
I bought this game when it first came out and loved it since the first time I played it. Over the years and through several moves i ended up losing the game and then buying it again.
I find myself reviewing the story everytime i beat it and have still found it to be entertaining even though the graphics are nowhere near this day and age. The game has a rating of from kids to adults.

Great storyline, interesting take on puzzles with the tools you get throughout the game. They made a remake for PS2 and to be honest, i will play this one over the remake anyday. The graphics are slightly sub-par on the map and in battle but battles are slightly 3 dimensional so it makes up for it.

I don't think there are any words that accurately describe this game title. The story of the little boy who wanders lost in a world that never wants to accept him. The story of a young man who saves a world that shuns him. The story of a young woman trying to find herself within her responsabilities. Finally the story of a man seeking to avenge his fallen comrades by seeking power beyond himself.

This game has all the key factors from the start for an epic RPG. The characters are all easily adored, the stories of each are emersive, and finally the journey is incredible.

My only problem with this game is that it could have been made longer. More effort could have gone into this title than a single disc game, 2 disc would have been sufficient and 3-4 would have been perfection!

The puzzles during gameplay are addictive and the game functions are handled easily through the control interface, so again, superb work.

The game in question that I purchased was Wild Arms for the PlayStation. As of writing this review I am pleased to inform that the game is running wonderfully, and with no issues at all. In addition to the game being purchased for a reasonable price, it was received in exactly the condition it was promised to be in which was near mint condition and complete, that is with everything still included (I.E. the manual, case, game disc (obviously :-P), etc.) not to mention the fact that I received it in a timely manner. All in all definitely a great RPG to play to pass the time.

This game is def worth playing. One of my favorite RPG's for teh PS1 console. I like the story it has a strong satory line and how you can chose between the three characters at the beginning instead of just playing one character like most RPG's. All in all i definetly recommend this buy i bought it because i played the game at a freinds house and really liked it so i reccommend Wild Arms 1 for PS1 to any one whos interested in pld school RPG games.
