A treat for the entire family

I first saw the Wind in the Willows series on television in the UK 'way back in the mid-80's. It was such a charming and lovely interpretation of the marvellous books by Kenneth Grahame. All these years later, I decided to start putting together a collection of DVDs to share with my great-nieces and -nephews, but I have found that the adults are equally charmed by the stories and the musical score. I can't recommend these highly enough!

Great series!!!! First season no different!

This series takes place exactly where the first movie left off and continues full-heartedly all the way to the end. Too bad we in North America don't get the last 3 seasons yet (hopefully soon!) but what we can get our hands on is pure gold! Great for all ages, well paced, and morally genuine. No bad can come from watching these shows.

I love these wind in the willows series great stories, that make you feel good. The stop action characters are believable they almost seem like real people. A great family show. Just wish that the rest of the series were available not just 1 and 2. I bought these because I had seen them on the Disney channel and fell in love with the show.

Charming, intelligent,

This is an excellent example of what TV for children should be. The animation is quaint, the voices are rich, and the scripting is simple. There are no farts, butts, or innuendos - the humor is very very tasteful. It is plain simple comedy at its best.
