Movie synopsis

THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS: The classic tale from Kenneth Grahame is brought to the screen in this adaptation from 1983. Some endearing stop-motion effects are deployed for the characters, with Mole, Badger, Rat, and Toad looking quite unlike they ever have before. The story revolves around the odd wiles of Toad, who loves to live life at breakneck speed. His passion for fast cars is on the wane, much to the delight of his friends, but unfortunately they discover he's simply replaced one reckless hobby with another: namely, airplanes! Mole, Badger, and Rat try to persuade him not to go on an around-the-world adventure, but the irrepressible Toad has other ideas!

The very young might get a bit scared in a few parts but this is a clean family movie that you can get more out of with more viewings at different times in life as a child for sure. Adults can enjoy this movie and appreciate the lessons and claymation work etc. IF you are looking for new technology, you will be dissapointed. It is a great movie, my husband and I watched with out children and are happy to own again. It has drama, comedy, heart, great craftsmanship. No Romance but friendship.

I loved this movie when I was a kid, and now my 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son really like it too! Nicely animated, appealing little soundtrack, sweet story line.
This is a good movie for a wet afternoon indoors...

This stop-action animation of a great book with equally great illustrations has all the CHARM of the book! I have watched it numerous times and expect I will many more...my little 6 year old great nephew is mesmerized by it!! A truly wonderful production....most especially, Ratty, whose facial expressions are enchanting!

This is not Blazing Saddles but you are very likely to watch it more than once which is more than most movies you would buy. There are many things you will discover and find cute the 10th time you watch it.
