Wishmaster/Wishmaster 2 DvD

5/5 I love Horror movies and I loved this dvd cause it had both Wishmaster 1 and 2 on it. I thought it was cool seeing Andrew Divoff playing both the Djinn and Nathaniel Demerest in both movies. I loved the wierd humour, blood, guts gore, death scenes, and the wishes. Believe me when the The Djinn says "Be Careful What You Wish For" you better listen. One sad thing is Wishmaster 1 was originally called Wes Craven's Wishmaster but he had his name removed from it. Out of the whole Wishmaster series 1 is the best, 2 was ok, stay away from 3 and 4 wasn't all that bad. Again Be Careful What you Wish For.

WISHMASTER/WISHMASTER2

I like that the sequel is as good as the original, and that is mostly due to the main actor signing on, REMEMBER "STING 2?"
The effects, not quite cheesy, but not ILM, make this a fascinating tale to follow. In the genre of violence/splatter it falls short, in the genre of vapirica, it falls short, in the genre of moster movies, it falls short...but, as a stand alone story...it is well thought out, well acted, and a truly unique horrific tale.
I sought this film, unseen, because I saw an action figure, sculpted by KYLE WINDRIX, featured in the TOY and ACTION FIGURE MUSEUM in Pauls Valley Oklahoma. It was a fascinating little figure, and as WINDRIX's Epic ARAGORN from Lord of the Rings, Standard Size Pinhead from Hellraiser [which sold over 400,000 units,] looked so lifelike, I had to compare the Wishmaster and see the story...AMAZINGLY DETAILED.
I couldn't have wished for more...by the way, be careful what you wish for...

The Best in Ancient Horror..The Djinn Rule
Created: 28/03/09
Theres not much to say...these two movies are the best, "I'll grant you three wishes" They are the best in ancient underworld demons, getting there minions to rise and take over the earth, the Djinn rule...pass up on numer 3, pretty much crap, number 4, follows well along the path of number 2. Wishmaster/Wishmaster 2 are quite simply good entertainment with some horror thrown in to make them tasty and they are, worth watching, buying...good ole stuff.

Total horror

These two movies are entertaining and well worth it. They are much better than the follwoing two movies. Of course, as with all horro movies some of the plots are simplistic. Still, this is a good movie for horror fans. Recommended.
