This collection is any Wizard of Oz fan's dream come true. Not only do you get the digitally enhanced movie itself but 2 additional DVDs filled with information about the making of the movie and its creator, L. Frank Baum. From outtakes to cast profiles and earlier productions of the movie, you get constant information - a lot of which I promise you will have never seen or heard of before. To top the whole set off, you receive several 5 x 7 photos of the cast and scenes from the movie that are good enough quality to frame. I really do think that any Wizard of Oz fan should make sure to get their hands on a copy of this special collector's edition. I absolutely love it!

what a great movie it's still as captivating as the first time we saw it as children. A movie that never gets old. No matter when it was made in a few words this movie is still relevent even today.
a little pricey and hard to find remember to look in your vhs collection don't spend $80.00 on the dvd rent if possible the rate that it is going for is allmost rediculous. the dvd is a great investment on the other hand with plenty of special features great movie get the popcorn out and enjoy.

I love everything about this movie. I love the music, costumes, & creativity. I decided to buy the collector's DVD set because it contains 3 discs and great photos. There is plenty of history behind this film including the complete story of the original creator L. Frank Baum. I recommend the collectors edition to all Wizard of Oz fans!

Watching the Wiz on DVD was like seeing the Wizard of OZ for the first time. The details are stunning, the colors stupendious and we were seeing things that we never noticed before. I would recommend this movie to any one who is a fan of OZ and has never have seen it in DVD format.
