    Industry Reviews
"James Thurber has given a generally undeserving world a number of inspiring things, as well as dogs. Chalk up here and today his summary of the debt of the English language to the letter 'O'. No one else could think up a fairy story, tale, legend, exercise, or what have you, based on 'O' alone. Certainly no one else could bring it off if he had. Mr. Thurber, however, can, did and does."

Top notch literature for all ages

    Created: 16/01/08
My daughter and her husband just had a son they named Otto. One of my friends reminded me of a story about a young boy named Otto Ott who travels to an island that has been taken over by pirates. No one is allowed to use any words containing the letter O, and this boy's name is reduced to TT TT. By the end of the story, everyone has learned a great deal about character and truly important things in life. I cry everytime I read it, the story is so well-written and meaningful to me. My daughter started reading it as soon as I gave it to her, and it is becoming a family favorite. I can't wait to share it with my grandson! This is one of those family books that many children will love to hear read to them over and over again.
