) My 3 year old daughter loves Word World on TV, so I wanted to have something "good" for her to watch when there was nothing good on TV. She LOVES this DVD!! I have to admit, the Pies, Pies, Pies episode is annoying to me as a parent, but she loves it. And don't you know she now knows how to spell pie, ball, and almost has bottle already? 4 episodes, it's a good length overall. I'd recommend it!

I would suggest to any parent trying to find educational materials for their children to watch to buy Word World DVD's. I teach my daughter everything I know every interaction we have should be meaningful and when she needs down time or relax time I am glad that Word World is there. She doesn't know she is learning and I love when she retells Duck's jokes! We had been discussing plural words and meanings when Word World discussed the use of an 's' she made several connections on her own. That is why I purchased this DVD in particular. Word World should be a part of every child's library especially on DVD!

) It is difficult to find good educational programs to help in the developmental skills of young children. I have found that the Word World programs have played a definite role in preparing my two young boys for pre-k and kindergarten classes. This program is a fun and exciting way for children to learn how to form small words by identifying letters of the alphabet as well as their phonetic sounds. A tool that no parent should be without!!
