    Product Information
Tournament of Champions takes a story-based approach, putting players on the Pro Circuit as a new pro and protege of Chris "Jesus" Ferguson. Players test their skills at the premier Circuit Events in hopes of qualifying for the winner-take-all, invitation-only Tournament of Champions at the Rio Resort in Las Vegas. Along the way, they face-off against more top pros than ever before, including Joseph Hachem, the 2006 World Series of Poker Main Event Champion, and Jennifer Tilly, the Academy Award-nominated actress and World Series of Poker bracelet holder, among others in hopes of bringing home the Tournament of Champions trophy.

Wolrd Series of Poker - Tournament of Champoins 2007

    Created: 05/03/07
I first played this on a friends PSP and had to buy it for the PC. After finding out it wasnt on sale in the UK just yet I bought it from America and I thought it would be the same as the PSP game but it isnt. First off it is very slow and not being able to change options such as the graphics is a disappointment. On the psp the camera view zooms into the cards when the dealer deals the flop, turn and river but doesnt on the PC version. Also when you fold on the PSP version shows you what hand you folded all the way through that hand but not on the PC version so if you have a bad memory then you wont get that mad if you folded a pair that becomes a full house on the river!!

The gameplay is ok but you would expect better for '07 title game. I havent played enough to get into the career mode but lets hope it has a couple of aces stuck up its sleeves.

    More Game, Less Gimmicks!

    Created: 03/10/07
I was pleasantly impressed with this latest edition of World Series of Poker.

My biggest complaint with other poker games was how they included gimmicky aspects to the game to handle bluffing detection, and it wrecked the game for me.

This edition has great graphics and gameplay! Should be enjoyable by any poker fan.

As for the game being slow, as some have mentioned, you can speed it up in the options to where it moves along fast. At least I feel it does. There is also the option to have your cards automatically showing, which I find more fun and useful, but it seems to reset every time I re-start the game. Maybe a patch will come out to fix that.

I've already had hours of fun with this one, and I bet you will as well!

    An OK game

    Created: 22/10/07
It's kind of fun, as long as your expectations aren't extremely high. As others have noted, play is slow unless you speed it up. Unfortunately the trade-off there is that you cannot then follow details of the play around the table.

Graphics are below average for a 2007 edition of a game. Player customization is almost a joke. Don't expect a Tiger Woods PGA Tour or Second Life avatar here.

Also, it may just be me, but it has an unfortunate tendency to crash at inopportune moments.

However, if you want to learn poker, and don't mind the rest, it's not bad.

    WORLD SERIES OF POKER-07 EDITION

    Created: 04/03/07
IT IS A NICE GAME WITH A CUTE FORMAT, BUT PAINFULLY SLOW. BY THE TIME YOU FINISH A GAME YOU WILL KNOW MORE ABOUT POKER AND WILL HAVE AGED CONSIDERABLY.
