    Album Notes
A preemptive CCM strike on the year 2005, this late-2004 collection features a dizzying array of Christian music acts, from the light, uplifting sounds of fan-favorite Steven Curtis Chapman ("All Things New") to the guitar-heavy neo-grunge of Building 429 ("Glory Defined"). The two-disc set boasts more than 30 artists, many just starting their musical careers. (The atmospheric rock group Mute Math, for example, at the time of this compilation, had only released one EP.) Other highlights include former DC Talk member TobyMac cutting loose on the bouncy pop-punk of "Gone" and Stacie Orrico's anthemic "(There's Gotta Be) More to Life," two tracks that, like all of WOW HITS 2005, help to renew faith while providing sonic delights.

WoW, What else is there to say.

    Created: 19/06/06
I own every Wow cd from 1998 to 2006, and I listen to at least one of them every day. some group takes all the songs from the year before and picks the top 30, or 19 or however many they think fit top songs of the year, and put them on what they call the Wow CD. I have them on my Ipod and Computer now, and some of them sound so modern, like Toby Mac, that you can play them when your secular friends come over and they won't be offended, although they there are all kind of genere's of music on these CDs, from Rap to Praise Gospel you would here at a contemperary church on Sunday. this and all other Wow Cd's are Highly recommended by me, and I hope you get yours today!

WOW is Wild for Classical Singer

    Created: 08/11/06
(Paid) Church singer looking for contemporary songs to sing with piano/without mic.

Selah & Untitled Hymn (Come to Jesus)... melody/text can be sung & ministers to congregation. "Untitled" can be most effectively, visually and beautifully danced.

WOW esp. for those who don't need a melody or songs with form (no repetitious filler). Most WOW text is personal to the writer/singer and inappropriate for the service or trained voice. Overall, this 2-disc set is a listening challenge to a classical singer... and a considerable research expense/book-storage issue.
