) I love the Wumps. I have loved the Wump World since I was very small. I'm 19,I baby sit lots of children and I bring lots of story books,games and toys in my babysitting bag. However every one of the children I've read this book to have loved it instantly. It also conveys a valuable message about keeping the world around you clean for everyone.I highly recommend this book for anyone with an imagination. Or that Eco minded keep it green person in your life.For the child in you. From 1 to 100.

) Bill Peet's catalog deserves to be enjoying the kind of success of Dr. Seuss, Eric Carl, Maurice Sendak or Chris Van Allsburg. The Wump World is a great companion to Van Allsburg's Only a Dream and a must read for any unit on environmental studies. Bill Peet's illustrations are engaging with his very down to earth style and the story is captivating. This book will be enjoyed by kids of all ages, Pre-K to sixth grade and appreciated by parents and teachers alike.
