WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 (Sony Playstation 3, 2008)

LIKES: The ability to create/edit the wrestlers and different types of wrestling matches. Some matches are very challenging.--------

LOVES: The game play is awesome and there are lots of wrestling superstars in this game. The more matches you win will unlock more superstars and different types of matches.--------

DISLIKES: The video display is only 720p, and some camera angles do not allow you to see enough of the wrestlers during game play.--------

OVERALL: I give the game a 8 out of 10 score.+++++++Thumbs up!!!

I am a huge fan of the Smackdown vs Raw series. I have had every game since it began. If you liked the past games in the SvR series, then this game is a must have! Most of the controls are the same as last year. So there will be no awkward attempts trying to get used to the game. The characters in the game are outstanding. A huge roster of over 60 people. Plus downloadable content that is soon to be released. Graphics are another amazing thing. The graphics are greatly improved from last year, and it looks a lot more smooth. Making this game one of the most beautiful games I have ever played. There are a couple of problems though. Such as: in Road to Wrestlemania mode. Its too short. Completing a storyline takes about an hour and a half. Career mode has some problems as well. For example, in order to complete it, you have to take every single title in the game. I was playing as the Big Show and I had to take the Cruiserweight title. That's not even close to being realistic. Overall this game is still one of the best wrestling games I have ever played. Although like many other games. It has some minor flaws, but if you can see past those flaws, you can see how good this game really is. I recommend this game to all wrestling fans.

GREAT VALUE, SON IS REALLY ENJOYING THE GAME, HAS ALL CURRENT WRESTLERS, GOOD VISUAL ASPECTS, VERY FAST SHIPPING. WOULD RECOMMEND THIS GAME FOR ANY PRE-TEEN, TEEN WHO FOLLOWS WWE WRESTLING.

my son has been asking me for this game for awhile now, and i surprise him by getting it off ebay at a supper price. now he's happy and that makes me happy. and now i can continue to get his games with out putting a dent in my pocket

One good thing about this game for Divas is that they can actually be used for Career Mode - but since you have to win all the belts for Career Mode, a diva fighting and winning against their way heavier counterparts does seem a tad unrealistic. What can I say though? The limited game modes divas can't play seem to even out that factor.

No, I'm not like the sickos out there, I just find it more fun to play Hell in a Cell, and the Elimination Chamber with friends and all our created characters (including the girls).
