WWE: Survivor Series 2008 (DVD, 2008)

So, my buddies and I ordered this Pay Per View. In all Honesty, it was not THAT great. 2 decent matches, and the rest was kind of... lame.

I'll break it down, match by match, and you be the judge.

Team HBK vs Team JBL - They are giving away the best match on the card, right off the bat. HBK has Cryme Tyme, Rey Mysterio and the Great Khali, while JBL has Miz and Morrison, MVP and Kane. The good thing about this match is that all the members of each team have a rivalry with eachother. Fun match, crowd got hot, and HBK, Mysterio and Khali pull off the victory.

Raw Divas vs Smackdown Divas - This is what I call a Bathroom break match. Very boring. The women need to be better trained if they are going to compete. Really, skip this match.

The Undertaker vs The Big Show (Casket Match) - The problem with having 2 big guys feuding is that some matches won't be good.... Like this one. A 12 minute casket match? LAME!! On top of that, the ending was TERRIBLE. Big Show FELL into a standing casket and it closed... Sometimes, I want to slap the hell out of the creative team.

Team Orton vs Team Batista - This is the OTHER match that is good. Quick action, fun match, and then Randy orton pulls off the victory with a blind tag! Perfect heel move and ending to the match!

Triple H vs Koslov vs Jeff Hardy (WWE Championship match) Alright. Jeff Hardy was "attacked earlier in the day" and cannot make it to the match. Super... we get to see HHH and Koslov in the slowest match of our lives. I was SO BORED. Koslov is CRAP. Oh, but wait... here is our SAVIOR.. EDGE!!! He runs in, Vickie Gurrerro makes it a triple threat again and, oh my... Edge Wins the belt... best 2 minutes of that match.

Cena vs Chris Jericho (World Heavyweight Championship match) - If you are a John Cena fan, I apologize for his crappy wrestling. John Cena is THE WORST wrestler of all time. Well, next to Goldberg and the Brooklyn Brawler. Anyway, he faces Chris Jericho (Easily the BEST superstar around right now) for the title after coming back from a torn pectorial muscle. Cena gets his ass kicked for the first 20 minutes and then magically wins the match and the belt with the 5 Moves Of DOOM. Lame. Chris Jericho put on a good match though.

Overall, if you are a Cena fan, buy it. Or if you collect all the Pay Per Views, get it. If you like Survivor Series Matches, I highly recommend it! Otherwise, you will be disappointed.

The WWE held their annual traditonal Survivor Series . Instead of two elimantion matches it was three instead. Also John Cena made his return back to the ring after having surgey on his neck to face Chris Jericho for the World Heavy Weight Championship in Cena's hometown in Boston Massachuets.
