WWE - From The Vault: Shawn Michaels (DVD, 2003)

This is basically Shawn's greatest matches up to 2002. All of the matches are FANTASTIC. The
only thing I don't like about this DVD set is the fact that there are only 7 matches. Much like WWE's
"Ultimate Ric Flair Collection" DVD set, there are just not enough matches. At all. All of these
matches are hands down some of the best in his career with the exception of the first match and there
are some nice interviews with Shawn himself, between all of them.
This DVD set get's a 4 instead of a perfect 5 for the lack of matches. If I rate based on quality, it's a 5/5.

The Midnight Rockers vs. Doug Summers & Buddy Rose
(AWA Tag Team Championship)
I don't like it because I don't like Summers or Rose. Shawn & Marty are still pretty green and it's
hard for the two of them, as good as they both are, to work with a couple of out of shape, egomaniacle
old farts like Summers & Rose. Those two can't even carry themselves let alone a match With the Rockers.

Shawn vs. Razor Ramon
(Ladder Match - WrestleMania X)
This match is the first Ladder Match ever. Not the first time a ladder was used in a match, but the
first match where in which the Ladder is a required tool of a match. At least in the WWF. This match
is possibly the greatest Ladder Match of all time. Possibly.

Shawn vs. Bret Hart
(Iron Man Match - WrestleMania XII)
This match was voted the Greatest Match in WrestleMania History, and I agree. This match is in my
opinion of the best matches ever, period. Any company, any era, any type of match. 60 minutes
wasn't enough to settle the score. They had to go into overtime and neither man gasses out!!!

Shawn vs. Diesel
(No Holds Barred)
I love this match. I love the storyline going into it, the ring psychology and the way they work.

Shawn vs. Mankind
Mick Foley calls this the greatest match of his entire career. I could watch these two wrestle for
every match of the card, every night of the week. They are great against eachother!!

Shawn vs. Undertaker
(Hell in a Cell)
This is the first Hell in a Cell EVER. This match became the measuring stick for all cage matches
for a reason. It is flawless, and is one of the most dramatic and brutal matches in WWE history.

Shawn vs. Triple H
This was Shawn's comeback after he retired from injury. It was supposed to be just ONE match,
but Shawn is still around today. This match is very dramatic, and in a good way.

WWE fans and fans of Michaels should get this DVD because it has some decent wrestling matches on it. It's two discs, has numerous matches and extra, plus before the matches Shawn Michaels will comment on his opponents and matches. This DVD is by far a better watch than the Boyhood Dream release. This DVD spans Michaels career and highlights the best moments. There's early matches with The Rockers, Shawn's match with Razor Ramon at WM10, his Hell in the Cell with Undertaker and his unsanctioned match with Triple H, and others. The iron man match with Bret Hart is on it, but I feel like instead of having this (or at least showing it in its entirety), they could have added several other matches. This doesn't take anything away from the DVD, though, it's still great. A Michaels fan should definitely get their hands on this; any WWE, for that matter, will enjoy watching this and should at least rent it.

This is a dvd that really puts alot of shawns best matches in his prime together. From latters with razor to cell with taker this dvd is pretty well stacked also. Alot of gimmick matches but over all you see his talent and where the buisness was at the point in time the matches where happening. Great match with bret and w-mania and with triple h at summerslam. Top to bottom the dvd is good. Also sheads a little light on the back story of shawn. How he got started and interviews with his parents on wrestling. Shawn goes into early days with the rockers also. Extras on this are good. Interviews and build ups to the matches are just classics. If you like good in ring work. go get this dvd.
