| The X-Blades is a single-player video game developed for Sony PS3. This action-adventure video game depicts the age-old battle between the good and the bad, the Enlightened One and the Evil One, the light and the dark. The main protagonist of this Sony PS3 video game, Ayumi, an attractive adventurer, stumbles upon an artifact wherein the powers of the Enlightened as well as the Dark were captured. As Ayumi, in search of valuable stones, finds these artifacts, she also releases the curse that goes with it. You as a player in the X-Blades, along with Ayumi, not only have to find out what the curse is but also defeat the darkness that goes along with it. The hack-and-slash action style of the game uses guns, magic and two pistol-blades that adds to its stylish flair. The demonic power mode of this Sony PS3 video game makes it even more spectacular. With 40 both indoor and outdoor environments, the X-Blades game adds variety to the gaming ambience. Depending upon the choices you make throughout this action-adventure video game, the ending varies, adding an element of surprise. ) This may not be a revolutionary game in the hack n' slash genre but it is definitely a serviceable option. I have played the game for about 8 hours now and I cannot wait to play some more. The game has a very arcade like feel. You move from room to room fitting hordes of enemies with the occasional boss and a mini-boss mixed in. The controls are nice and simple and I really like the ability to flip between melee, magic, and shooting. The graphics are very sharp and the definitely nailed the feeling of a lost temple. I also love the lighting and the shadows. There are some very bright spots where the sun is beating down and then there are very dark spots where the light cannot penetrate. Also the soundtrack is decent and it fits with the overall feel of the game.

) This is a game that exceeded my expectations. It is perhaps one of the best looking games for the system. Very flashy and if you like a little rpg/slash/hack and looking at eye candy,then this game would fit you just fine.
If you love hack & slash games, killing waves of enemies, u will love this.

) Storyline maynot be the great and not much in dialogs, but if you like hack and slash games, than you will like this. when playing the game, you will be fighting waves of enemies all the way to the end. its not a difficult game even on a max difficulty setting but it is very enjoyable. you have varieties of attacks and magic which can be upgrade to become even powerful where you can just wipe out the entire field in a matter of few seconds. but that doesn't mean the game becomes very easy, some of the bosses can be challanging first time around, since yo can't fight them face to face, you have to use other techniques to bring them down. bottom line is game is all fighting and hack and slash and if you love that, you will love this game. on the top the game price is very low now, so its worth a try.

Entertaining little game if you can get it cheap, nothing spectacular just hack slack and button mash your way through monsters
