Movie synopsis
British ranchowner John Tunstall (Terence Stamp) hires six young men to help him tend and guard his ranch. In addition he also teaches them to read and to be civilized, but soon Tunstall is murdered by a corrupt and ruthless competing cattle rancher. The six 'young guns' go seeking revenge and are erroneously branded outlaws by the law, until they can clear their names. The six young guns are played by Emilio Estevez, Kiefer Sutherland, Lou Diamond Phillips, Charlie Sheen, Dermot Mulroney and Casey Siemaszko.

) This is a film made strictly for fun.No real history revealed here and a whole lot of artistic license utilized.The flow of the film is very choppy and has a rushed feel but the characters are all likeable enough.The acting held no suprises;Don't expect to see too much from Jack Palance.Emilio was cute and funny while Kiefer was ,well Kiefer.Charlie Sheen walked through and Lou Diamond had some of the cheesiest lines I've heard in a film since the 60's.Also Demont Mulroney and Casey Siemaszko starred apparently so someone could be killed.
You need to watch this as a basis for Young Guns 2

A solid cast makes this a film that one day will be a classic. I've seen it so many times on TV that I bought to watch it when I wanted to and uncut by commercials.
