Yu-Gi-Oh! The Eternal Duelist Soul (Nintendo Game Boy Advance, 2002)

This game is great for any Yu-Gi-Oh fan. You are obviously Yugi as you make your own deck and duel your friends and enemies. The story mode is very short and all you do is duel other people. It gets very boring. You can unlock cards by looking at the 8-digit card code on the bottom corner of yugioh cards. Overall, this game is fun at times, but gets boring.

This game is fun! The dueling is very edgy and keeps you coming back for more. The Deck Edit System is very organized and allows you to create your own dream deck without wasting money on real cards. I highly recommend you buy this game asap if you are a yugioh fan.

This game is a lot different from DDS or Forbidden Memories. It includes every Yu-gi-oh game card ever created and it includes all the official rules of the Yu-gi-oh trading card game. Your deck can now have a maximum of 50 cards and no more star chips, or deck capacity, or duelist level. You can include any cards you wish and all the english cards are there! All the effects are exactly like the real trading card game. It is definetly worth the money. Compared to this, DDS and forbidden memories don't stand a chance.

Definately better than average game but with room for improvement.
This was the first and only YuGiOh game i've ever owned and decided to purchase it again out of nostalgia, so i wasn't expecting much, but after i started playing a new game i imidiately found myself getting into it again :)

The good: Game is full of stragety. You have to think to play, which is nice. Game centers around a reward system; the more characters you beat, the more cards you get to choose from allowing you to costumize your deck completely which leads to beating more characters! Full circle. Complicated for a card game, the sheer number of cards allows infinate kinds of decks to be created making each game different and interesting. Strategy and luck are fairly blanaced.

The Bad: The only beef i have with this game would be the rules. It's often unclear what cards do what and in what way unless they've been used against you or you've messed up a few times. There's a lot of trial and error, which in some cases can be really annoying. During a game, some phases won't allow you to view your apponents face up cards, this can be a problem if you don't remember what they had.

Overall i'm going to rate this game as good because although it could use an upgrade on some things, those things aren't crucial to what is an overall interesting and fun game.

THE GAME IN IT SELF IS A GOOD GAME. THE REASON I GOT THE GAME IS TO DUEL MY FRIENDS. THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HEAVE IS THAT YOU CAN NOT USE THE GOD CARDS, I MEAN WHY BE ABLE TO GET THEM IF YOU CAN'T USE THEM? OVER ALL IT IS A GOOD GAME FOR FRIENDS TO DUEL EACH OTHER.
