Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (Classic NES Series Edition) (Nintendo Game Boy Advance, 2004)

If this item plays as good as "The Legend of Zelda" then it will be a FANTASTIC game, and I finally got it in the mail yesterday.

After popping this into my Nintendo DS, I was instantly taken back to the 1990's and that feeling of putting that gold cartridge in my NES for the first time.

This game does have a slightly different look and feel from the first Zelda adventure (gone to a side-scroller versus an overhead camera). But the gameplay, use of skill/experience points, magic and increased difficulty make this a true great. Even if most fans deem this the "dark horse" of the Zelda collection.

For all Zelda fans out there, I would recommend getting this title for some great "on the road" action!!

This game brings the same zelda experience to a new perspective. The biggest change is the transition from a top map view format to a side scrolling adventure. The gameplay utilizes elements from the previous Zelda and also Mario which gives it an action/RPG feel. The music is also memorable and suitable for each situation. Zelda II is a commonly overlooked yet decent part of the series.

This game is exactly like the original NES game. Fun, yet hard. Not my favorite version of Zelda, but still a great quest-game.

This game is a ton of fun for any Zelda player, whether this is your first purchase or you are trying to complete your collection. Many consider Zelda II to be the "black sheep" of the Zelda series, due to it's side scrolling game play and RPG-like qualities such as experience points and leveling, which in my personal opinion adds to the difficulty of the game. Definitely a must have for any true Zelda fan, this game offers hours of playability.

Zelda 2 is a great addtion to your collection. The graphics and game play are much different from the other Zelda games. What I do like about this game is the story line and the challenge. As in all the Zelda games it does take some time to beat. What I don't like is the side scrolling action does limit the game. There is not different weapons and tools to acquire, instead the search is more focused on magic skills. I do prefer the other Zelda games over this on, but as I said before it is a fun game and a great addition to your libary.
