Furthermore, a distinct voice and character is instilled in the sound as this Hi-Hat cymbal is made from cast bronze which consists of copper, tin and traces of silver. This Zildjian 14-inch cymbal has a traditional wide groove that is machine made and lathed which gives it a classic voice. I,ve been drumming for over 40yrs and have always found Zildjian to be the best sounding cymbal. The Avedis A,s are a quality cymbal. When I was growing up there were just Zildjians that I knew of,now there are so many different lines of them that I figured rather then doing all the research why not just go with the old tried and true. I,m glad I did as they have a bright and crisp sound not to mention they are made extremely well (very durable). I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a good sounding cymbal at a fair price. Zapp

A+ !!! GREAT set of hi hats. I am a starter, used heavy Z master sound hats, so I switched over to something a little lighter; not so think and. These cymbals have an elegant sizzle for blues and jazz, that also has the versatility to back up alternative and rock ensembles. Avedis Zildjian is the WAY TO GO! I have an avedis ping ride I bought in 2009, and these cymbals are a great addition to my set, which already includes a K custom session crash and a k custom hybrid crash. It's a MUST HAVE for any percussionist that doesn't want to break budget, but desires that sizzle and smash for rock n' roll!

There has never been a more versatile and timeless pair of hi-hats. They work with every genre from hard rock to lounge jazz and perform beautifully. Jump on these if you get the chance.
