    A great game!

    Created: 07/07/06
Lucas Arts did it again with this great SNES classic. The object of the game is to ensure the survival of people in 48 levels from a huge cast of enemy monsters. Players of Maniac Mansion may feel at home with this game but newcomers can easily pick up on the simple objectives and control scheme. Unless you know what you're doing the game becomes challenging from level 30 up but if you have the weapons and lives needed it isn't as diffecult. This game is long and first timers may need a few days to beat it. This game has a nice amount of challenge, suspense, and enjoyment rolled into one SNES cartridge.

    Zombies Ate My Neighbors

    Created: 14/11/10
The game is simple and plays very well and controls are very tight. There are lots of weapons to play with and your first weapon is effective at killing almost any of the monsters that decide to snack on you. Issues i have noticed is that when u pick up many weapons and special items its difficult to cycle through them all to find the one u want because its all in game no pause menu to chose what u want. When u get hit by a enemy the blink time(immune to damage for a period of time) is rather short. Passwords are simple and easy to remmber and are recived every 5 levels but only supply you with your main weapon and 1 health kit.

    A Classic!

    Created: 09/04/10
This is one of the few games I really remember from the 90's. I played this all through highschool, even with having the PSX. It's over 50 levels of badassery. It's hard, filled with monsters (and zombies) from various 20th century horror films. Oddly enough, no skeletons... Eff'em. All you need to do is enjoy the multiple weapons that span everything from sqiuirt guns, bazookas, flatware, soda, monster potion, and much, much more. It's a 3/4 perspective. Looking down, zelda-ish. Its' sequel, Ghoul Patrol, is not as good, but neither was Chrono Cross... I'd reccomend it, highly. FYI, the two-player option is the best way to rock this classic.

    Worst 16-bit Game Ever Made

    Created: 21/02/08
This game is very bad. It's one of the worst games I've ever played in my entire lifetime. I had more fun getting horrible upset stomachs, broken bones, and losing prized possessions than playing this horrible garbage. I don't care how many people *love* this game; It's a childhood nightmare that tortured me when I was younger.

The graphics are nice, not remarkable but good nevertheless. The sound and music is horrendous. Nails on a chalkboard never sounded better compared to the songs in the game. The gameplay is incredibly repetitive. All you do is go around and rescue victims from getting killed. It's simple and sweet for 7 levels but after 12 it gets boring and stale, but it gets very much downhill from here, Especially since most of the levels are the same thing over and over again which contributes even more to the repetitiveness. The game is extremely difficulty but in a bad way, you will meet enemies that will hand your butt to you much easier than you can kill them, as well enemies that stall you, and bosses that are so incredibly broken, you will be asking why did they create it in the first place? The game has no continues and a very limited password system. The game is 48 Levels long but the ending is not even worth all that suffering.

Please do yourself an enormous favor and do not torture yourself playing this bad game. If you want games that will give a great challenge play the Contra or Donkey Kong Country series, their difficulty is more fair and rewarding, plus the music in those games are way better. So are the endings, they will make you feel that you truly earned them. Avoid Zombies Ate My Neighbors because it is just torture in the form of a SNES cartridge,

The reasons why I bought it: One to demonstrate to my friends how terrible it is and two to destroy the horrible nightmare of a video game that plagued my childhood.

    Interesting concept

    Created: 25/03/11
Zombies Ate My Neighbors is kind of like a B-movie encapsulated in a video game. It has its frustrating moments but overall an excellent little game. You can play two player co-op. Your mission is to rescue your neighbors. You start out with ten but they can be killed and that leaves 1 less for the continuing rounds in the game. So, it is wise to save as many as possible at the beginning. The enemies are varied, interesting and definitely B-movie inspired. There is a charm to those who grow up watching Ed Wood or similar directors and can enjoy the humor of these movies. Game play is simple but not without difficulties. You can scroll through your items in only one direction which can be frustrating if you skip over something you are in need of at that moment. Quite a few times have gone past health or rocket launcher when I need them. There is also of course the length of the game 55 levels if you count all the bonus levels or 47 if you don't go through all. You also only get passwords every 4 levels and it doesn't store equipment so can be rough in the later stages. If you haven't tried, give it a go. An enjoyable game on the SNES or Genesis, just get ready to take some time to advance and watch out for zombies. Mwahahahahaha
