This very unique Lapel Pin was a sales advertising item for promoting
The CISCO KID on Radio and Television on the 1950's
 
See and hear the exciting adventures of Cisco and Pancho as they track down outlaws of the Old West once a week on Television and three times a week on Radio.
 
It is little remembered today, but many syndicated programs had commercials and ad items like these face masks and lapel pins made for them by the regional sponsors who paid for their broadcast on local stations.

The Cisco Kid was the first television series to be shot in color. Series ran for 156 episodes, from 1950-1956, started March 6th 1950.

The Cisco Kid and his English-mangling sidekick Pancho travel the old west in the grand tradition of the Lone Ranger, righting wrongs and fighting injustice wherever they find it.

The CISCO KID ended every episode with this lines.
The Cisco Kid: "Oh, Pancho!"
Pancho: "Oh, Cisco!"

The Cisco Kid was a spokesman for several Bread Companies, one was Weber's Bread (known as Butternut Bread in the midwest).

The CISCO KID TV Program was nominated in 1951 for an Emmy for Best Children's Show
 
Diablo was The Cisco Kid's horse. Loco was Pancho's horse.

In the 1953 season star Duncan Renaldo was injured in a rock fall and hospitalized, resulting in his missing nine episodes. To cover for Renaldo's absence on the show, the Cisco Kid was shown wearing masks, disguised as a ghost and in other situations where a double could be used for him and footage of him that had been previously shot but not used was also used. He recorded his lines from his hospital bed.
