American Flyer S # 26760 (720A) Pair Track Switches/Box
American Flyer #720 Switch Pair and Controller - Box 43.08 and 12 shipp
Pair of 720 American Flyer Remote Switches + Controller
#720. Remote Control Switches and Controller with a fairly stinky box. The switches and controller have been tested and work well. I picked up
a bunch of bulbs at York last week so the red and green lights in the controller all work and the bulbs in the switch lantren work as well. The box is
not so good. It is stained, dirty and one end is blown out as may be seen in the last photo. However, if you are looking for working switches and
not all that concerned about the box this could be the pair for you.

maybe missing bolt on the 17v not sure
This one of the quieter 22035s that I've serviced! I replaced the power cord and as you can see the max. voltage output is 18.7 volts! All
functions work ok including the circuit breaker which in itself is unusual! There are no cracks in the case and only the front AF decal shows some
wear, baseplate had minor rust and most rust removed by sandblasting, there is NO internal rust! Because the manner in which this xfmr was
constructed, I will be shipping this transformer upside down to prevent any damage in shipping!

12 American Flyer S Gauge Freight & Passenger Cars For Parts or Restoration.
Description
This is for a Lot of 12 Vintage AF American Flyer S Gauge Train Cars. All are believed to be S gauge. These trains are from
a large house fire that consumed almost an entire collection. (We may be listing more in the coming days.) Some maybe restorable and some are
only good for parts. We are including a very casual observation of each car, which may or not be complete or accurate, it is only our opinion.
Included are the following items:
AF 718 Railway Express Agency operating car. Body is melted at one end. Mechanism look like it is there, Frame looks useable. One truck
with coupler.
AF 24533 Track Cleaning Car. Containers are melted as is the yellow bin. Nice long depressed center metal flat car. Couplers bad.
AF C&NWRY 42597 Searchlight Car. Car looks ok with the old style link couplers. Might be a slight warp on the side, that is hard to see.
Yoke is good.
AF Yellow Gondola. Car body is a mess. Good trucks with old style link couplers.
AF 631 T&P Gondola. Look OK, but trucks are rusty. One small step missing. Old Style link couplers.
AF 931 T&P Gondola. Body side has a Large Chip missing. Has all of the steps. Knuckle couplers with good trucks, but one weight missing.
AF Shell 625. Dome pushed in to body. Good trucks with wheels, one coupler missing. Has metal hand railing.
AF 639 American Flyer Box Car. Frame is loose. Some small chips on the bottom, but might be useable. No couplers, but trucks look OK.
AF C&NWRY 42597 Cast Metal Flat Car (logs?) . Casting is good. Knuckle couplers look OK but need servicing.
AF 638 Caboose. Small corner chip. Couplers and trucks look OK. Has end rails.
AF Reading 630. 4 Metal wheels. Very small corner chips. One coupler.
AF Reading 630. 3 Metal wheels. Very small corner chip. Has both couplers and light socket.
AF Red Generator - large chip on one end. WE WANT TO SELL THESE CARS AS ONE LOT, NOT SEPARATELY.
For those that do not know, the following is a short history of the AF
Company. American Flyer Trains were first
manufactured by the American Flyer Manufacturing Co. in Chicago, IL. They manufactured Clock Work
trains and later Wide Gauge and "O" Gauge Electric Trains. In the late 1930's the American Flyer line was
bought by The A.C. Gilbert, Co. of New Haven Connecticut, headed by A.C. Gilbert the inventor of Erector
sets and many other toys. Gilbert had already begun the manufacture of an HO line of trains. At the end of
World War 2, Gilbert resumed train and toy production, but introduced new gauge, "S" Gauge. Scaled to 3/16
to the inch and running on two rail track. The A.C. Gilbert, Co., acquired by The Wrather, Corp., in the early
60's, was closed in 1966. The American Flyer name, along with all the tools and dies, were sold to the Lionel
Corp. Gilbert also made the famous ERECTOR sets and many other toys. They made science sets,
chemistry, physics and microscope sets. Some of the first items Gilbert made were their Mysto Magic Sets.
Gilbert Polar Cub small electrical appliances were years ahead of their time.
