OVERVIEW:

The GEVEY Ultra S package comes with a GEVEY Ultra S sim interposer, a custom GEVEY sim tray and a GEVEY setup sim card.  Once setup is complete, you can program the GEVEY setup sim card to match all GSM carriers without an original carrier’s sim card, therefore, your iPhone 4S will work on all worldwide GSM networks. 

  

INSTRUCTIONS

 

1. Getting Started:

The GEVEY Ultra S sim interposer is pre-programmed to unlocked AT&T  iPhone 4S only.If you 

are unlocking a NON AT&T iPhone 4S and you do NOT have the original carrier’s sim card, you 

will need to program the GEVEY Ultra S interposer to match the GSM carrier network you want 

use your iPhone 4Son.  

Your iPhone 4S must be activated before you can program the GEVEY Ultra S interposer to match

the GSM carrier’s network.  To enter setup mode to program the GEVEY Ultra S, simply insert 

the GEVEY setup sim and GEVEY Ultra S interposer together into your iPhone 4S.  If your iPhone 

4S carrier name is listed, just select it and eject the SIM tray immediately to complete the setup

programming process.

(Japan KDDI au iPhone 4S is special and additional steps are required to 

complete the unlocking process.)

 

If you have the original carrier sim card, insert the GEVEY setup card and the GEVEY Ultra S 

interposer together.  Once a screen shot of all the carriers appear, eject the sim tray and 

remove the GEVEY setup sim card form you’re the custom GEVEY sim tray.  Insert the original 

carrier sim card with the GEVEY Ultra S interposer together into your iPhone 4S.  The GEVEY 

Ultra S interposer automatically loads the original carrier’s information and setup is complete. 

If you do NOT see your iPhone 4S carrier’s name on the list and you do NOT have the original 

carrier sim card, then you need to select “Other carrier.” You must enter the carrier code to 

complete the programming process.  A list of carrier codes is listed here:www.gevey.com. Please

finish the above steps within 10 seconds, otherwise you will have to eject the sim card and re-

insert and repeat the process again.


Once you successfully programmed the GEVEY Ultra S, eject the sim tray and remove the setup 

sim/original simcard from the custom GEVEY sim tray.  Insert the new carrier sim and GEVEY 

Ultra S interposer together and restart your iPhone 4S.  Although restarting your iPhone 4S is 

optional,it is recommended. Select “Accept or Cancel” and your iPhone 4S is unlocked!

2. If you have an US AT&T iPhone 4S:

Simply insertthe GSM carrier sim card you wish to use with GEVEY Ultra S together. You can 

select either “Cancel or Accept” to complete the unlocking process.

3. If you have a Japan KDDI au iPhone 4S:

Insert the GEVEY Ultra S interposer and the GEVEY SETUP SIM together into the iPhone 4S. 

Then, select “JP KDDI au” and finish within 10 sec. You can select either “Cancel or Accept” to 

complete the programming process.Insert any sim card you wish to use with the GEVEY Ultra S 

interposer into your iPhone 4S. You can select either “Cancel or Accept” to complete the 

unlocking process.

4. Sample 3, other Carrier iPhone 4S (with original Carrier SIM):

Insert the GEVEY Ultra S interposer and the GEVEY setup sim together into the iPhone 4S and 

the following screen shot is displayed:

Do not select any carrier name.  Simply eject your sim tray and remove the GEVEY setup sim 

from the custom GEVEY sim tray.  Insert the GEVEY Ultra S and the original SIM together into 

your iPhone 4S. You can select either  “Cancel or Accept” to complete the unlocking process.                          

5. Sample 4, other Carrier iPhone 4S (without original Carrier SIM):

Insert the GEVEY SIM and GEVEY SETUP SIM together into your iPhone 4S.Select“Other carrier” 

and you will be prompted to enter a 7 digit carrier code. Go to www.gevey.comto find a 

complete list of carrier codes.  Enter the 7 digit code and select“Send” to complete the 

programming process. Simply eject your sim tray and remove the GEVEY setup sim.  Insert the 

GEVEY Ultra S and the new sim together into your iPhone 4S. You can select either “Cancel or 

Accept” to complete the unlocking process.           

6. APN Settings:

Connect your iPhone to WIFI and go to www.gevey.com/apn and select your carrier’s name to 

get the APN information. Select “Submit” to download the APN settings into your iPhone 4S.

NOTE:This is a one-time setup only, unless you change your network 

carrier. 



7. No Need to Dial International Emergency Number 112:

IMPORTANT: We are one of the only sellers selling the REAL AUTHENTIC Gevey Ultra S. 

How can you differentiate between the REAL Ultra S and the FAKE Ultra S? For now, it is easy. 

Look at the image to see the real Gevey Ultra S packaging and compare with the other 

listings. R-Sim (pictured above) is fake & illegal! It requires 112 dialing, and 112 dialing 

is considered an emergency phone # in the iPhone 4S. Besides the cops calling you back, we are 

not even sure if the data and mms work on the R-Sim. We do know that MMS does NOT work on 

the GPP (pictured above). You can buy them for a cheaper price, but is it really worth it? With 

the REAL Gevey Ultra S, there is now no need to dial the international emergency number (112) 

during installation or when rebooting your iPhone 4S. Our learning technology allows for true 

plug-and-play iPhone 4S unlock solution. Beware of solutions that require you  to CONNECT to an

emergency number. This violates telecommunication abuse policies and lead to service 

cancelation on some networks.


8. Untethered Unlock with no Jailbreak Needed:

The new GEVEY Ultra S is now a single interposer that works for all networks. It actuallylearns? 

your network, so there is no need to select a specific GEVEY Ultra S for your service carrier. A 

new GEVEY Ultra S comes in learning mode, but after inserting the GEVEY Ultra S and your SIM 

card in your iPhone 4S, our technology learns your network types and settings for a true plug-

and-play unlock solution.

One caveat of this exploit is that, if for some reason you need to change your current SIM with a

SIM card from a different carrier, you will need to reset your GEVEY Ultra S with the reset SIM 

included with your genuine GEVEY Ultra S. Beware of other solutions that claim to  circumvent 

this issue. It is simply not possible when taking advantage of this new exploit in the iPhone 4S 

firmware.

10. Complete Unlock with all 2G and 3G Data Services:

Purchase genuine GEVEY products and completely unblock all 

2G and 3G data- transfer functionality. By default, your network carrier has blocked data 

network settings inside your iPhone 4S firmware. You will need to use the original 

network carrier?s SIM to activate your iPhone, and our GEVEY Ultra S will unlock all functionality 

available by your network.Be aware that some telecommunication carriers restrict data 

services to network phones only. Unfortunately, this limitation is unrelated to SIM cards and 

phone locking technology, so there is no phone unlocking solution that can 

guarantee connectivity to every data network. Check with your intended carrier to 

confirm data networks like 2G and 3G services are allowed on out-of-network phones.

11. No SIM Card Cutting or Physical Modifications:

 

The new GEVEY Ultra S is engineered using the F981 chipset, which is 

more expensive but performs a whole lot better than cheaper solutions. We don?t manipulate, 

polish, or sand down cheaper microchips to make our SIM interposer small enough to fit, and 

there Is NO NEED for you to cut your SIM card or modify your iPhone 4S in any way.Beware of 

counterfeit GEVEY products claiming to use the F981 chipset and selling for less than our rock 

bottom pricing. Most people won?t be able to tell the difference by visual  inspection, but some 

cheaper, larger chips used in these solutions are sanded, cut, or polished to fit in your iPhone 

4S. These solutions expose sensitive electronic components and are notoriously prone 

to overheating, short-circuit, and breakage.
