~ Mint U.S. Postage Stamps from 1946 ~

This dark violet block of four U.S. postage stamps was issued on June 1, 1946 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Tennessee statehood.   The 3-cent rotary press-printed stamp features Andrew Jackson, John Sevier and the State Capitol, Nashville.

These stamps have never been used and still have the full original gum.   Suitable for framing, they would make a great gift.
