Hi. Up for auction is an 18 size American waltham pocket watch. It is running strong and keeping time. It is a nickel movement with beautiful damaskeening. It is 15 jewels and adjusted and is a nickel movement with blued screws and amazing damaskeening. It is marked Appleton Tracy and adjusted. This was ther top of the line watch back in 1891 and was railroad grade. It is a open face movement in a open face case. The serial number is 5507745 and dates to around 1891. It does wind completely and hands set as they should. The case is marked Defiance and the bow is nice and tight. . The dial does harlines but please keep in mind the pictures are greatly magnified and the hairlines are not than noticeable with the naked eye.The dial is a triple sunk with beautiful open morning glory hands. The movement is a stem wind and stem set. The crystal is good with a few small scratches.I do not know when watch was last seviced so please bid accordingly. Please look at all the pictures as closely. I have tried to describe watch as accurately as possible but please e-mail me with any questions. I will only charge exact amount for shipping and gladly combine shipping. I have 100 percent feedback so please contact me with any problems before leaving a negative feedback.
