Product Information

The 1955 Roosevelt dime adds value to your coin collection. Made from 90 percent silver and 10 percent copper, this Roosevelt dime weighs 2.5 g. Designed by John R. Sinnock, chief engraver of the U.S. Mint, this silver coin depicts an image of President Franklin D. Roosevelt by replacing the Mercury dime. However, the obverse design of this Roosevelt dime has Sinnock’s initials as “JS” at the base of Roosevelt’s neck. Commemorating the President’s great contribution in the founding of the National Foundation to eradicate Infantile Paralysis, this 1955 Roosevelt dime was chosen to honor him. Moreover, with 17.9 mm diameter, this silver coin is given a reeded edge.

    Any older silver coin, with a high grade is a great investment.

    This coin is up to par with all the other MS67's I have purchased over the years. I'm starting to like this ICG company, they have fair grading, and with a great resale value. I will continue to buy, as long as the price is right.

    Beuatiful 1955 Roosevelt Dime to add to my collection.

    I bought this beautiful 1955 Roosevelt dime to try and complete my collection of Roosevelt dimes from start to finish. I love the look of it and it looks new, even though it is not. Great experience and I would recommend saving this dimes to anyone at any age.
