Grade 1 = Nearly perfect. Altough the item is old, it appears like new with very little or no tears. Coloration of pages/surfaces can be a different grade of yellow or white. Corners and edges are in great condition.
Grade 2 = Excellent, only light handling or wear. Item with more wear than grade 1, writing can be present but no tears or lose pages are present. Corners and edges are good.
Grade 3 = Fine, clean, collectible with some edge wear and /or possible minor faults. Item can have some wear, lots of writing or have visible faults like a cracked surface or wears. Corners and edges might have imperfections or be bent but still in good shape.
Grade 4 = Lower grade. Item has major problems, parts might be missing, surface might be bent and have a mark after bending. Corners and edges might be missing, uneven or torn.
