    Great Taillight Lenses

    I gave these lenses a 4 only because on the stock taillights, the backup (white) light is on the bottom and on these it is on the top. I had to extend the wires on one side to make it reach. That is no big thing. But, they don't tell you of this possibility. Maybe on some trucks, the wires DO reach. But, they didn't on mine. Otherwise, I really like them. They look great and are much less expensive than replacing with the stock lenses.

    Reverse lenses on top may create wiring problem

    The clear [back up] lenses on original housing is on bottom, these are on top. The clear (back up) wiring pigtail on my 02 silverado WT reg cab simply wasn't long enough to reach to the new location at the top. I almost sent them back, but decided to cut those wires [2 each side] and solder in 3 inch extension wires to make these new lights useable. A 20 minute job became a 2 hour project ! Installation video [different year] appears to have longer wiring pigtails - these may be a drop in fit for your year model, but pull one of your tail light housings out and CHECK IF THAT PIGTAIL WILL REACH TO TOP AREA BEFORE purchasing these. UPDATE These have been on my truck now for about 2 years. Still look and function well.

    Design Looks good but not very bright.

    The instructions are a bit confusing. Had to read the instructions several times because there are different options on how to wire it. Seems to be fixed headlight with the ability to adjust the beams. There are screws on the lights that I will try later and see if they are adjustable. The lights are not very bright but they are decent. Not bad for the price. I'll be looking into getting a brighter bulb if possible.
