The Original stretcher was then draped with new Canvas (many years ago) and the Original Painting was then adheared with wax to the new canvas backing on the original stretcher. There is fairly heavy soiling to the canvas though the old painting could easily be revived with a frame and a good cleaning. Overall Nicely Saved condition.”
