Heavy duty axle bar is manufactured in the USA with specifications exceeding OEM quality.  These axle bars are well hardened and stand up as well as 4340 chromoly steel.  The outer CV Joint is assembled on the axle bar using high temperature-high load bearing grease insuring maximum internal lubrication and protected by a heavy duty puncture resistant thermoplastic boot.  A new heavy duty inner cv joint boot kit (19.95 value) is also included.

When should I use a halfshaft axle?

 

Halfshaft axles work great when the axle bar or axle splines are destroyed, but inner CV Joint is in good shape. Your inner CV Joint fits on our half shaft axles saving you money compared to the cost of a complete axle.

 

These halfshafts also work well when your outer CV Joint is broken and will not come off the axle bar.  Saves the work of removing the outer joint from the axle bar.
