1953--USC TROJANS (ARAMIS DANDOY, LINDON CROW, TOM NICKOLOFF)--LOT OF THREE (3) FOOTBALL PROGRAMS v. MINNESOTA GOLDEN GOPHERS (PAUL GIEL, JIM SOLTAU), INDIANA HOOSIERS (FLORIAN HELINSKI) AND UCLA BRUINS (PAUL CAMERON, BOB DAVENPORT) @ LOS ANGELES MEMORIAL COLISEUM...Here's a terrific LOT OF THREE (3) 58 year old USC PROGRAMS from the games at the Coliseum on September 26, 1953, that saw the Trojans beat the Gophers 17-7; on Oct. 2 that saw the Trojans top the Hoosiers 27-14; and on Nov.21 where the Bruins beat the Trojans 13-0....Top players for Jess Hill's Trojans were QB George Bozanic, backs Aramis Dandoy, Lindon Crow, Des Koch and Harold Han, ends Tom Nickoloff and Ron Miller (who didn't make it in the pros but did OK in marrying Walt Disney's daughter) and linemen Mario Da Re, Ed Pucci and George Timberlake... Complete starting lineups, rosters, personal stats, photos and more of all the players on all teams....Analysis and scouting report for the games....and more great info on both schools and teams....Also some interesting old 50s ads and graphics from the L.A. area...In those days you could get a hot dog for 25c and a coke for 15c....These 36 page programs are in overall excellent or better condition...."1953" neatly written on front cover....some small tears at top and bottom of spine that have been neatly repaired with scotch tape...Buyer pays s/h cost of $5.25 (US)....PLEASE NOTE--California residents are also required to pay applicable California sales taxes, which will be added to invoice....Part of a major acquisition of old USC programs and memorabilia, so please check out my other auctions for lots more SC and other football collectibles...
