If ever there was a dry fly recognized by most fly fishers, it would have to be the Adams fly. Considered by many to be one of the most universal attractor patterns of all time. This American fly pattern was designed by Len Halladay of Michigan in the early twenties. Regardless of it origins, the Adams dry fly is considered by many anglers to be the best dry fly pattern ever conceived today. (Probably the first dry fly most flyfishers float.)

Today you have a chance to pick up a set of Adams Cripples which is a deadly variation on the classic Catskill tie. The Adams Cripple is designed to represent a mayfly stuck in it's shuck and an easy target for trout. Tied with the two-tone hackle collar, the addition of a crystal zelon wing and zelon mayfly brown shuck, you'll find yourself going to this fly more and more. A TRUE CONFIDENCE FLY!!!!!!!!!!!! This fly has accounted for more 20" + browns for me than any other fly in my box.

I enjoy fishing a 2 dry fly rig and will drop this fly behind a larger attractor like a hopper, stone or drake. Many times the attractor will get the attention of the trout, but this fly will get the take.

Orders with my hand-tied flies. I tie all flies after payment is received. There may be times during the year when it will take me 1 to 2 weeks, based on the volume of current orders, to complete a fly order and get it in the mail. Your patience is greatly appreciated!

Most packages ship 1st Class Mail. Other services such as USPS Priority Mail, USPS Express Mail & UPS is available upon request at additional cost.

Domestic Shipping Within USA-

I combine shipping for all items that are paid from the same invoice. The total cost of shipping is the shipping cost of the item with the highest shipping cost on the invoice. All items ship at that cost. If you are buying multiple items, please make sure they are combined in 1 invoice before paying. If unsure, please request a "Total for Item" before you pay the invoice.
