A BEAUTIFUL HAND-PAINTED ANTIQUE JAPANESE SATSUMA TEA SET, MADE BY THE HOTTA YU COMPANY, MADE C. 1920-1940'S, IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.  THERE ARE NO CHIPS, CRACKS, OR HAIRLINES.  THIS TWENTY-SIX PIECE SET INCLUDES:  SEVEN CUPS 3 1/2" IN DIAMETER BY 2" TALL, EIGHT SAUCERS 5 1/2" IN DIAMETER, EIGHT SALAD PLATES 7 1/4" IN DIAMETER, A COFFEE POT 7 1/4" TALL TO THE TOP OF THE DRAGON HEAD FINIAL BY 9 1/2" FROM SPOUT TO THE HANDLE, A TEAPOT 6" TALL BY 6 3/4" FROM SPOUT TO HANDLE, AND A DOUBLE HANDLED COVERED SUGAR BOWL 6" TALL BY 7" HANDLE TO HANDLE.  THE BOTTOM IS MARKED WITH AN "H" INSIDE A CHERRY BLOSSOM AND HAND PAINTED JAPAN.
