The materials used to manufacture the IO500 have been carefully selected to withstand extreme weather and temperature fluctuations (-50 degrees to 200 degrees). The sealed cabinet is rugged Polypropylene Composite. The bracket bosses are solid brass.

The ArchiTech Series IO500 speakers are designed with a savvy snap-on bezel on the rear panel. Just snap off the bezel (no tools required) to gain access to the speaker’s heavy-duty 5-way, gold-plated, binding post terminals and the unique Bass EQ Toggle Switch.

If you decide to leave your speakers outdoor all year round, the snap-on bezel serves as a protective layer against the elements.

About the Bass EQ Toggle Switch:
The Base EQ Toggle Switch allows you to choose between two preset crossover frequencies that are optimized for either indoor or outdoor usage.
