Notes
Musically, there are bits of the Stone Roses, What's the Story Morning Glory, and Nevermind. As catchy as those reference points are, it's the songwriting that has won the band a fiercely dedicated following; a mix of the observational storytelling of Davies and Weller crossed with the harsher documentary eye of Mike Skinner of the Streets and "Ghost Town" era Specials. Domino. 2006.

Arctic Monkey's album was in great condition!

The Disk plays flawlessly and I love Arctic Monkey's old songs.

  • 21st Century Gold.

There's a reason why Whatever is the UK's fastest selling debut album by a band. The Monkeys churned out some infectious tunes in their first album, but above anything else is Alex Turner's ability to put the bandly night life into such poetic and charming verses. Turner is quite possibly the best lyricist in the UK at the moment and this is clearly illustrated in Whatever's standout track, "A Certain Romance", which has been included in many Best-Of lists in the UK, such as reaching #10 in NME's Best Songs of the Decade. Overall, the album is fantastic from start to finish, and the band has been great since it's release.

I didn't expect this album to be in such great condition but I was highly satisfied by its overall care. Would reccomend to anyone looking to get a great quality album for a good price ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

  • This was their first album?

It's hard to believe this was Arctic Monkeys first album, it has great energy and it sounds amazing. They have a very unique sound compared to the other alternative music I listen to, it's a shame more people don't know about them yet. As with Favourite Worst Nightmare, I originally bought this album off iTunes but I had to get a hard copy too, Arctic Monkeys are that good.

  • Good quality at a reasonable price.
