This auction is for a great vintage feedsack or flour sack that surely dates to the 1930s or 40s ~ perfect for crafter, quilters and the seamstress.  This and other items we now have listed have been purchased at the recent rural Kansas estate auction. This fabric:

  • vintage feedsack fabric
  • has been opened flat
  • feedsack stitching holes evident
  • features a great dainty printed ruffled border along the bottom 4 inches or so and topped with tiny pink and red flowers and foliage accented with ribbons on a bright white ground
  • color shade is accurate on my monitor
  • the motifs look to be the graphics of the WWII Era
  • RARE find
  • surely dates to the 1930s or 40s
  • smooth tight weave
  • all cotton
  • no flaws noted
  • measures approximately 36 by 42 inches 
  • straight from the auction
  • I have not laundered
  • perfect to use as a tea towel or to cut up and use in quilting and other craft and sewing projects
  • no odors noted
  • I am guessing that this fabric dates to the 1930s or 1940s
  • great for many projects!
