Rudy’s Model Steam Tractor

Description
One of Rudy Kouhoupt’s most popular earlier works. This has complete plans to make a 3/4 inch scale steam tractor. Based on a full-size J.I. Case, but is not an exact replica. All joints in boiler itself and valves are silver soldered. This excellent, well written book has full text and plans. It has the additional feature of construction info and an assortment of photos that clearly show tractor components. Model is alcohol fired, will run at 30 PSI. Five gears on the right-hand side of the tractor transmit power from the crankshaft to the rear wheels. These excellent plans give practical know-how about engines, metals & machining.
