Traditional Country for the next generation!!! GET IT!!!
This is the type of "firing on all cylinders right out of the gate" debut that comes along only a few times. Being a HUGE fan of traditional country with an edge (Willie, Waylon, Cash, Dwight, Jason & the Scorchers etc) I am always on the lookout for those type of artist. I actually became aware of these guys by seeing Chuck Mead and Chris Scruggs on the Marty Stuart Show... WAS BLOWN AWAY by their performance!! Googled those two to see a little about them and discovered they were past members of BR5-49... Youtubed a couple of videos, and decided to spend some hard earned money on BR cd's and to start at the beginning. I was NOT disappointed!! ... My only regret is that I came a little late to the party and BR5-49 is currently (as 0f 2014) on hiatus while the members work on other projects ... The songwriting, performances, song arrangement and sound production is perfect. If you're a fan of any of the aforementioned artist... get this recording!! You will find yourself pushing play over, and over, and over, and over!! I can also recommend their cd "Coast To Coast / Live" as well!! It does a great job capturing the original lineup's energy in from of an audience!!

This is a replacement for the first CD that has been exhausted. Poor thing would not play it had to be replaced. Cherokee Boogie!!!
