from the bottom to the top at the back, approximately 46 cm // 16 inches.
- The protrusion when mounted, as measured from the back to the front,
at the deepest section of the top of the head, measures approximately 16.5 cm // 6.5 inches.

approximately 15 cm x 7 cm // 5.85 inches x 2.75 inches.

This item is made of matter and it is OLD;
it is an antique far in excess of 100 years of age, and this means it is NOT NEW

There are signs of age and usage
including but not limited to the fact that this has separated
along the join lines; this is not a crack but a separation along
the joined portions of the piece and it's been exactly like this for
well over 100 years. There is nothing functionally wrong with this piece.
- There is also abundant
overall surface wear,
there are abundant surface scratches, there are some rough edges,
there are some small chips and tiny dings, there is
oxidation,
and / or other irregularities characteristic of and typical of old wood things.

The wood has its' original finish; it was finished over all surfaces except the bottom of the base
with a protective coating and this finish
has worn through over time all over the piece, including all prominent ridges,
along all the edges, around the entire perimeter, and at the back.
- There is a metal hanger attached at the back for hanging the piece.

that we missed because we aren't specifically trained to see them.

- Il n'y a ni marque de fabrique, ni signature; c'est un héritage de notre famille.

- Il y a un crochet accrochant en métal joint au fond.
- Le bois a la séparation le long des endroits où il est joint pour former la tête.
- Il y a une fente apparente le long de ces derniers joignent des lignes.
