First Installation in 30 minutes:

1.Assembling  CNC (Separated to 2 part for shipping,  just screw up 4 screws then can be  OK)

and locating the CNC machine on stable   desk.

2.Make sure  that your computer has a on-board  parallel port output.

3. Install  control software and Drive such as the  MACH 3 or EMC2 (You can search easy  in Google)

4.Connect the  X, Y, Z and Limit Switch socket from  machine to CNC controller, connect  power cord (We  have already set the right voltage according your   country).  Connect parallel port from

FAQ:

1) Does the machine come with software?

No, the package does not include software. This machine is compatible to Mach3 and EMC2 software, they are shareware and could be downloaded from their official website. So we do not ship with software. Hope you understand that. There are also a lot of Mach3 and EMC2 tutorials from the web. Please google them or check youtube for online tutorial.

2) Can this machine mill steel and how thick can it mill?

Yes, it can mill steel but not very efficiently. User can set mill step for each run, say 0.2mm in the software to experience the effect. Milling steel is possible but may not be efficient with the default motor. 

We have a high power (water cool) motor with 800W power, 24000RPM. We can custom made for buyer for additional cost, please send email to us.

3) What is the power of the spindle motor?

The spindle motor is 200W, it can be used to work on plastic, wood, aluminium and other soft materials. If you need more powerful spindle motor, please contact us by email : Contact us : cnc@mib-instruments.com

4) How quick we ship the parcel after your purchase?

After a buyer has paid for the CNC, the order will go to our factory. Before packaging, we will run 4 hours burn in test and then pack all accessories. The next day, we will send the parcel to our forwarder to get all the paperwork done. On the 4th day, we will have a shipper's reference number then the DHL waybill number will be published on the 5th day. Please understand that before the parcel is about 40Kg, so it take more time to prepare the shipment.

5) Warranty and After Sales Service (ASS)

We provide 12 months warranty on functionality of all parts. We design and manufacturer the CNC machine, we keep close contact with all customers and collect their valuable feedback after sale. A) PLEASE WEAR SAFETY GLASSES AT ALL TIMES WHEN IN THE AREA OF THE MILLING MACHINE!

B) AT NO TIME IS THE CNC MILL TO BE LEFT CUTTING WITHOUT AN ATTENDANT AT THE CONTROL PANEL! 

C) WARNING!! NO - Loose clothing, long hair, personal stereo wires and jewelry may become entangled in rotating equipment leading to ACCIDENT!

D) WARNING!! If improperly used, milling cutters may shatter. If this occurs, sharp fragments of metal will fly off at high velocity. Persons in the path of such missiles will be injured. IF YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW TO SET UP AND USE A MILLING CUTTER, ASK!!!

E) WARNING!! Milling cutters can be extremely sharp. When changing tools, always wrap the cutter in a rag.

 Do not touch the cutting edges with your bare hands. NEVER touch a rotating tool bit.

F) The chips produced in the milling process can also be razor sharp. Always use a brush to clean a machine. Do not use compressed air to blow the chips off of the machine or your clothes. Blown chips may get into eyes or puncture skin.

G) Never attempt to measure parts or clean the machine while the milling cutter is rotating.

H) WARNING!! Make certain that the work-piece is securely fixtured and that all components of the fixture are securely fastened to the table. Because of the enormous forces involved in milling, failure to check security may result in items being flung from the setup causing bodily injury.

I) Before powering up the spindle, make certain that the milling cutter, its tool holder, and the spindle, are free of the workpiece and will not run into any of the fixturing components. Also, make certain all loose tools, spindle wrenches, chuck keys, and measuring tools have been removed from the machine and put in

the proper location.

J) Make certain that the milling cutter is rotating in the proper direction before beginning a cut, otherwise the milling cutter will burn up.

K) If the work-piece begins to vibrate, or the cutter makes excessive noise, stop cutting immediately.

L) Do not attempt to take a heavier cut than the cutter or the workpiece setup can handle. ALWAYS TEST RUN WITH SMALL CUTTING DEPTH.

M) Know how the physical properties of the material being cut affect the way that cut should be done.
