This Rawlings Official Major League Baseball showcases a hand signature from New York Yankees Superstar and Captain, Derek Jeter. Jeter used a blue ball point pen to autograph this baseball with a gem mint signature as well as hand inscribe "96 ROY". This baseball has been engraved below Derek's signature with "The Captain 1996 American League Rookie Of The Year .314 AVG 10 HR 78 RBI Limited Edition 2 of 2". In 1996 Derek Jeter broke into the Major League Baseball scene. This young kid was brought into the league to fill a void at the shortstop position and little did they know that almost 20 years later he would still be their starting short stop and hold a ton of records and has been "The Captain" of the Bronx Bombers leading them to 5 World Series Championships so far during his tenure !! This baseball is a limited edition of ONLY 2, and you will receive the EXACT item pictured, which is premium number 2 of 2.
