It was stated the dia. of the HEI cap would be larger, which it was, and I figured with the coil on top it would be an inch or so taller, but the distributor body is also a few inches taller.. So overall it's ~4 inches taller than stock.. Which made air cleaner choice problematic, & for those with cars hood clearance might even be an issue; just an FYI
