Silly, but harmless; recommended only if you liked Grown Ups 1.
If you've seen Grown-Ups 1, you will want to see the sequel on principle. But the plot is pretty lame. It opens with an elk rampaging through Adam Sandler's house. This scene is rolling-on-the-floor funny, but the movie goes downhill from there. Sandler and his friends go to their childhood swimming hole, which has been taken over by Taylor Lautner and his frat boy pals. The younger guys force Sandler and his gang to jump into the lake naked. Then Sandler has a 1980s-theme party (mildly amusing, as everyone dresses as an '80s icon). The frat boys crash the party and it becomes a wild brawl until the elk reappears to settle the question of which side can claim victory. The elk, which really has nothing to do with the so-called plot, is hilarious. The rest of it feels like outtakes and ... If you've seen Grown-Ups 1, you will want to see the sequel on principle.
