"Bride" is a lovely bridal gown with lacy cap veil, satin panties, lily-of-the-valley bouquet, and satin shoes (yellowed with foxing) that was manufactured for the 7 1/2"-8 1/2" hard plastic Ginger toddler doll by Cosmopolitan Doll and Toy Corporation circa 1956. Ginger was a Ginny doll competitor. "Bride" belongs to the "Trousseau" series of outfits that Cosmopolitan manufactured for Ginger. This outfit remains UN-played with though it has become dusty and the white portions of the outfit have gently foxed with age and storage. Bride comes in Box #772 which is a Ginger Bridesmaid box. The box sustains wear, tear, and foxing with age too, and the plastic window is gone. The outfit's original owner has penciled her name 3 times on the box! The contents remain crispy and UN-played with. No bad odors-- Only a dusty scent! A nice outfit for your Ginger!
