This 520 RACE kit is provided with all 520 size chain and sprocket components
QUICK ACCELERATION gear ratio (quicker off the line, quicker roll on's, wheelies), use a 15t (-1t) front sprocket and 44t (+1t) Black steel rear sprocket.
THIS IS THE DEFAULT
SUPPLIED GEARING FOR THIS KIT UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED
(the -1t front sprocket change is versatile because you can change back to the near stock ratio with the oem size 16t and same chain)
EXTREME QUICK ACCELERATION gear ratio (crazy quick off the line, really easy roll on wheelies), request during checkout in the "Add Message" tab
a 15t front sprocket and 45t Silver JT steel rear
(the -1t front sprocket and the +2t or 3t rear sprocket change is pretty radical, but you can change back to the regular Q.A. ratio by going back to a 16t which will fit with the same chain)
Original Factory Supplied OEM size sprockets are the calculated "Happy Medium" of off the line acceleration, roll on's, and high speed engine rpm's with the least amount of compromise on either top end or low end acceleration
Stock size teeth 520 sprockets are available if you simply want lighter weight drive train components , but the same ratio. Request oem 16/43t during checkout in "Add Message" tab.
Stock 2007-2013 CBR600rr is 16/42t , 03/06 = 16/43t .

Teeth and Sizes Explained...
** A -1t front sprocket change is EXACTLY the same ratio change as +3t rear sprocket change.
** A -2t front sprocket change is EXACTLY the same ratio change as +6t rear sprocket change (Very Extreme change)
** A -1t front and +1t rear combination is EXACTLY the same as a +4t rear only change with stock front sprocket.
** A 520 size chain is approx. 2mm narrower than a 525 chain, and 4mm narrower than a 530 chain. Less mass equals lighter weight equals easier to spin, but the ratio (teeth size) change makes the big difference. The sprocket width matches the chain width where it rides on the sprockets, thus a 520 chain must use 520 sprockets, and a 525 chain must use 525 sprockets, etc...
** RPE Motorcycle has chain and sprocket conversion kits available in 520 , 525 , and 530 sizes for most motorcycles.
** A larger rear sprocket number of teeth size requires a longer chain, however +1 or -1 tooth on the front sprocket only will use the same chain length
