Harvard College Library Bookplate from the George Schunemann Jackson Fund  

Presented is a book plate for the Harvard College Library.

Antique- the bookplate is not dated but likely dates from the early to mid 1900s.

It is not signed

The plate reads "from the George Schunemann Jackson Fund for the Purchase of Books on Social Welfare & Moral Philosophy".  "Given in Honor of his Parents, Their Simplicity Sincerity and Fearlessness."  It also features the Harvard shield.

It measures 4 5/8 inches long and 3 5/8 inches wide.

The plate is glued to foil paper. The plate is numbered in the bottom left hand corner (527) in pencil, otherwise it is in good condition.
